Our newest arrival… Peanut! We received a call from the local shelter to see if we could take a sick cat that had no eyes with infected eye sockets, ears loaded with mites, teeth in horrible condition, and she needed to be spayed. Of course, we said yes.
We don’t know much about Peanut’s history, but we know her owner was incarcerated and she was surrendered.
For the first couple of months Peanut was extremely quiet and just found a corner sit in. I named her Peanut because I was determined to bring out of her shell. It took a whole three weeks! Now, there isn’t anywhere Peanut isn’t comfortable!
