Honoring Our Volunteers

National Volunteer Week
In the States, this whole week is National Volunteer Week, a time to think about giving of yourself to the less fortunate. Your time, funding, expertise, encouragement, etc. can all make a difference. It’s not a time dedicated to any one particular volunteer organization or cause, but an effort to honor the generous people who commit themselves to making their little corner of the world better and to acknowledge that we’ve all probably been in a position where a helping hand was appreciated.
With that said, we here at the Last Chance Ranch Sanctuary would like to thank you all for your generous donations over the years. They have truly helped to improve the quality of life for many less fortunate pets and animals. We could not have done this without you, our supporters, and we’d like to thank each and every one of you who has ever donated funds or their personal time or resources to LCRS. The gang here really appreciates your generosity.
We’d also like to take this opportunity to mention that finding a cause to which you can volunteer your time has never been easier. If you think you might want to take that first step into volunteer work, check out VolunteerMatch.org – they can put you in touch with people and organizations who can use your help. And, of course, there’s always us 🙂 LCRS depends on your donations and volunteer efforts to make a difference. Thank you again, and if you know someone who volunteers their time, remember to thank them for their work. It really does make a difference.
